I have a website and my own cpanel. Now the problem is my friend wants me to host her but I don’t really know how it works. She bought a domain name from godaddy.com. I tried the add on domain feature but it showed up this error:

Please transfer the domain to this servers nameservers or have your administrator add one of its nameservers to /etc/ips.remotedns and make the proper A entries on that remote nameserver.

How to Add a Domain in Your Web Host
When your domain and web host are from two different companies, you need to access them individually. Here are the steps involved:
At your domain registrar’s end:
1. Login to your domain registrar account.
2. Find the link ‘Manage your Domains’ or ‘Domain Manager’.
3. Click the domain you want to use in your web host.
4. Change its nameserver 1 and nameserver 2 in correspont to your hosting account nameservers. Your nameservers in your hosting account can be found at the email your web host sent you when you register from them.
5. Save the new configuration.
6. Wait for at least two to forty-eight hour as in order for the domain to propagate.

At your web host’s end:
1. Add your domain using the ‘addon domain’ feature on your web host cpanel.
2. Create your website by uploading your finished website and its database or install a website by using fantastico or installcentral.
3. After the set up is finished, your web host will email you the details of your website.

You can forward the email to your friend so that she can begin customizing his website.
